The Follow-Up Cadence That Actually Books Meetings
One call and one email is not a follow-up sequence — it's a goodbye. Here's the 7-touch cadence we recommend to every Trippple member.
After 15 years of running ad campaigns, we know exactly when leads go cold and when they come back. Spoiler: 50% of conversions happen between the fifth and twelfth touch, but only 8% of small businesses go past three.
Day 0: SMS + call within 5 minutes. Voicemail if no pickup. Brief, no pitch — just confirm interest and propose a slot.
Day 1: Personalized email referencing the exact pain in their Meta form answer. One link, one CTA, no PDF attachments.
Day 3: Second call attempt, different time of day. Most small businesses call only in the morning. Try after 5 PM.
Day 7: Value email — a case study, a one-pager, or a 60-second Loom. Never a generic newsletter.
Day 14: LinkedIn connection request with a one-line message referencing the original inquiry.
Day 30: Soft break-up email: "Should I close your file or keep it open?" The reply rate on this one is typically 12–18%.
Day 60: Reactivation. New offer, new angle, same person. They are not lost — they are just not ready yet.
